Malaysia seeks EPCC contractor for 30 MW FPV array

Malaysia's state power utility, Tenaga Nasional Berhad Resources (TNB) has launched a tender for the development of a 30 MWac floating solar PV (FPV) project on the reservoir of the 40.5 MW Chenderoh hydropower dam.

Bids are invited by 8 December for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of the plant, which will be built at one of Malaysia’s major hydroelectric dams, in the state of Perak in the northwest of Peninsular Malaysia. Chenderoh Lake is impounded by a dam, which was the country’s first major hydro dam upon its completion in 1930.
