The Theun-Hinboun Power Company (THPC) owns and operates a 520 MW plant in central/southern Laos and is exploring the possibility of further extensions to its operation.
THPC is seeking technical Expressions of Interest from qualified engineering firms to perform a technical feasibility study for a new dam and powerhouse project in the Lao PDR (NT4 Hydropower Project); and, a technical feasibility study for an additional generation facility at the existing Theun Hinboun Regulating Pond.
Engineering firms interested in the above works should contact THPC at the address below right, to express their interest. The expression can be for both or one of the above works. Interested firms are required to submit their Expressions of Interest by 19 June 2018.
The company is also calling for Expressions of Interest for an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the NT4 hydropower project; and, an initial environmental examination (IEE) for the Theun-Hinboun Regulating Pond Project.
Specialist firms in environmental and social analysis and mitigation work that are interested in the above projects should contact THPC at the address below to express their interest. The expression can be for both or one of the environmental and social works. Please note that for these works, all interested firms must be duly registered with the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment of the Lao PDR at the time of submission of the Expression of Interest. Expressions of Interest must be received by 19 June 2018.
