The project is being undertaken under Madagascar’s Electrification Rurale par Energies Renouvelables, Région SAVA – ERER-SAVA (Rural Electrification by Renewable Energy) programme, which is managed by Agence de Développement de l’Électrification Rurale (ADER), and financed by the German development bank KfW on behalf of Germany’s federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This is part of the German-Malagasy financial cooperation between KfW, ADER, UNIDO, the Government of Madagascar, and HIER. Bidding will be conducted by an international competitive bidding procedure with post qualification.
