ENDE extends bid deadline for El Condor project in Bolivia

Bolivia’s state-owned power supplier Empresa Nacional de Electricidad (ENDE Corporación) has extended the deadline for bids for the design, supply, installation and construction of the El Cóndor small hydropower project to 22 November. The original tender notice (see below for details), published in May of this year, sought bids by 20 June. The turnkey contract is to be financed by KfW, the German Development Bank, which has provided funding to the Government of Bolivia to support the generation of renewable energy by small hydropower plants and corresponding design and construction services.
