The turnkey contracts will be awarded on a lump sum fixed cost basis, according to the tender notices published on 7 March. The Tamasha project is to be built on the river Tamasha in the Kargil district while the Phagla hydropower project is planned to be built in the Poonch district.
Prequalification is open to single entities, joint ventures or consortia from any country, subject to Government of India regulations. Tender documents for E-RFQ No: JKSPDC/PMDP-2015/P-280/Tamasha/5552-65 and JKSPDC/PMDP-2015/P-280/Phagla/5566-79, respectively, can be downloaded from the e-tendering portal of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir at www.jktenders.gov.in, upon payment of a fee of INR 50 000 in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of the General Manager (Accounts), JKSPDC at Srinagar. Bids are invited from contractors who satisfy eligibility criteria provided in the detailed E-Request for Qualification (RFQ), available on the e-tendering portal. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 27 March. Bid uploading is scheduled to start on 20 April with the last date for receipt of hard copies of technical bids set for 9 May and bid uploading to end on 10 May. Any corrigendum to PQ documents, notices and information shall be available on the e-tendering portal and the JKSPDC website and applicants are advised to visit the site regularly before the submission deadline.
