The contracted services are to be financed by the World Bank and the French Agency of Development (AFD) under the Climate Resilience and Water Security in Angola-RECLIMA programme. The project will cover the Sendi dam and its appurtenant works, the Sendi reservoir (possible need for dredging); Primary irrigation canal that starts at Sendi dam toe, the diversion weir downstream of the Sendi dam, two primary irrigation channels that start at the weir, and the Quimaia dam plus its spillway channel and successive weirs.
Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected. The establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the World Bank’s “Selection Methods for Consultants” defined in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” fourth edition November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”). A consultant will be selected in accordance with the QCBS method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
