Interested consultancy firms should provide information demonstrating experience in undertaking detailed technical studies for the construction of hydropower projects and solar PV plants and also in the legal structuring more generally of electricity generation projects. The aim of the contracted consultancy works is to have a complete set of documents to enable the construction of the projects on the basis of a legal and financial structure through a Public Private Partnership (PPP). The scope of contract is to be carried out in three phases: (1) Feasibility studies for the construction of the aforementioned hydropower plants and associated solar PV arrays; (2) Studies for the legal, financial and commercial structuring of the projects: (3) Preparation of the contractual documents enabling the selection of one or more private partners for the development of the projects. The selected consultancy will also provide capacity building for EDC’s staff in certain areas related to the studies.
