The civil works are to be financed from a loan provided by the German development bank, Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau (KfW).
The scope of works entail the main embankment dam, reinforced concrete intake tower and its access walkway, temporary diversion tunnel in reinforced concrete, downstream valve chamber, spillway, intake tunnel, treatment of the dam foundation, dam instrumentation, supply and assembly of hydromechanical equipment, permanent access and site roads, and all associated electrical works.
Full tender documents are available to interested bidders upon proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of Tunisian Dinar 2000 to the Treasurer General (Monsieur le Trésorier Général de la Tunisie).
Final bids should be submitted no later than 10.30 hours on 3 December either by registered or priority post or directly in person at the offices of the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Ressources Hydrauliques et de la Pêche, Bureau d’Ordre Central, Commission Permanente d’Ouverture des Plis (CPOP), 30 rue Alain Savary – 1002 Tunis. A site visit and meeting will be scheduled later and is mandatory for all bidders.
Bids must include three files: an administrative file marked “A”, a technical file marked T and a financial file marked F with a provisional guarantee of DT 2 million. Bonds and offers must be valid for one hundred and twenty days (120 days) from the day following the deadline of the submission date.
These files must be included in a single outer envelope marked with the following note: A.O.I. N° : 32 / 2024 – A « NE PAS OUVRIR ; OFFRE POUR LE PROJET DE REALISATION DE BARRAGE RAGHAI ».
