A wide range of activities take place at Slovenia’s well equipped and recently expanded hydraulic research and development centre, Turboin˘stitut. This article gives an overview of the modelling and testing facilities, design and manufacting capability for small hydro schemes, educational activities and the supercomputing centre. A tour of Turboinstitut has been arranged for HYDRO 2008 delegates, on 7 October.
