Studies for the construction of the Sehuencas RCC dam in Bolivia

A series of studies to establish mix designs, analyse test slabs, organize the construction process, and optimize the layout of construction equipment made it possible to pre-empt and resolve any difficulties at this major dam project, so that RCC placement could begin on time. Among the studies described here are those relating to the design mixes with aggregates from the Ivirizu river, the RCC placement during rainy days, and the special procedures adopted for the placement of grout-enriched RCC.
