Lai Chau RCC dam, Vietnam, nears completion ahead of schedule

RCC placement at Lai Chau began on 7 March 2013 and it is expected that it will be completed in April this year, some two months ahead of the scheduled date. It is also expected that the hydropower plant will be generating power ahead of, or at the latest on schedule, enabling 1200 MW of much-needed power to be fed into the Vietnamese national grid.
