The Venue

The AFRICA Conference sessions and Technical Exhibition will take place at the Labadi Beach Resort, Accra, Ghana.

Programme Themes

Themes will include civil engineering and dam construction, safety and cyber security, social and environmental concerns, challenging schemes, multipurpose development, rural electrification, and training and capacity building, among many others.

Technical Exhibition

The leading consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, professional association and other hydro specialists will showcase their activities and services during the three-day exhibition which will run concurrently with the conference.

Social Programme

A full social and cultural programme is being arranged to give attendees the opportunity to relax in an informal atmosphere with friends from the international hydro community.

Study Tours

Two post-Conference study tours are planned, to give participants an opportunity to visit Ghana’s most important dams and hydropower plants; itineraries are still to be confirmed, and timings checked, so the information below is provisional.

About AFRICA 2025

AFRICA 2025 will take place at the Labadi Beach Resort, Accra, Ghana, on 8 to 10 July 2025. It will be the fifth in the AFRICA regional conference series, with previous events having been held in Ethiopia, Morocco, Namibia and Uganda.
