SITCOM: a tool for predicting the behaviour of hydraulic structures

Monitoring systems are installed on EDF dams in selected zones to measure appropriate physical quantities. EDF DTG has developed a tool called SITCOM that helps the user run models to predict the behaviour of hydraulic structures using reservoir levels and temperature forecasts. This article focuses on the application of this tool, carried out as part of a 10-year monitoring report, for the behaviour analysis of the Gage II dam in France.
