Two micro hydro projects, which are to be financed by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), are to be located on the water supply network in Montfleury in the northeastern Governorate of Tunis and at the upper reservoir of Lahirech in the north-western Governorate of Jendouba.
The contracts will require studies of the projects, the supply and installation, testing and commissioning of electro-mechanical and electrical equipment, associated civil works, connection to the medium voltage network of the state power utility STEG, the training of technical staff and after-sales service (including provision of spare parts), according to a tender notice published on AFD’s website on 14 June. Tender documents can be purchased from the Direction Centrale des Economies de l’Eau, Bureau n°410, 4ème étage, Siège de la Société Nationale d’Exploitation et de Distribution des Eaux (SONEDE), Avenue Slimane Ben Slimane, El Manar 2, Tunis 2092, upon the payment of Dinar 200 by cheque or in cash. Envelopes marked “NE PAS OUVRIR” – Appel d’Offres n°55/2019, containing the technical and financial offers, must be sent by registered mail, express post or by hand to the below-mentioned address by 9.00 hours on 5 September.
