The contract covers the design, procurement, manufacture, inspection, shop assembly, testing, painting, transportation, site storage and site erection, testing and commissioning of radial gates, vertical gates, stoplogs, gantry cranes, trashracks, trashrack cleaning machine, and steel liner for four pressure shafts. The contracted work is expected to be completed within 43 months.
The run-of-river project on the river Chenab, in Kishtwar district, will comprise a 109 m-high concrete gravity dam, with water to be diverted through four 5.65 m-diameter penstocks to an underground powerhouse, with four Francis turbine-generator units, with capacity of 135 MW each.
On-line techno-commercial bidding will begin on 16 September with last bids due by 27 September. Hard copies as well as a non-refundable tender fee of INR 11 800 and other offline supporting documents should be submitted to the below-mentioned address by 30 September. The date for e-reverse bidding will be communicated later to techno-commercial bidders.
