The contracted works, which will be financed from European Union funds and the contracting authority’s own resources, will entail the modernization of the turbine of TG1 of PVE Ružín, according to a tender notice published on the EU’s procurement website TED on 8 June.
The aim of the project is to increase the efficiency of the unit as well as its control range in both operating modes by installing a new impeller, reducing vibration and cavitation wear and tear, increasing the overall technical level of the equipment, and increasing the safety, reliability and operational efficiency of individual equipment. A complete description of the contract is given in the technical specifications, which form an appendix to the tender documents.
