Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), a state hydropower developer in Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), invites online bids by 8 March from qualified consultants to assist with the construction of the 6.95 MW Mujahidin run-of-river project on the Barandoo river in the district of Torghar.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as well as with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and Income Tax Department for the purposes of sales tax on services. If firms wish to submit their application as a joint venture they must submit a JV agreement as per the PEC format on stamp paper. Foreign firms bidding in a JV must have valid registration on Form PEC-4C as per PEC by-laws.
Bidders can download the RFP documents, available on PEDO’s official website at www.pedo.pk/ upon written application to the office of the undersigned and upon payment of a fee of PKR 3000 in the form of a CDR/pay order in favour of the CEO PEDO up to five days prior to the closing date. The interested firms must register and apply online on etender.pedo.pk and submit proposals online (in PDF format only) and also submit the hard copies of the bids in sealed envelopes as per specified procurement method (QCBS). Interested firms must submit technical proposals (one original and two copies) and one original financial proposal in separate sealed envelopes at the below-mentioned address before 14.00 hrs on 8 March. A pre-bid conference will be held on 21 February.
